Importance of the RO/ARO Exam


Exam  conducted by UPPSC. The positions of administrative framework. These roles are responsible for reviewing official documents, managing records, and supporting senior administrative functions. Preliminary exam -

- The exam includes two main section- 

- - General Studies

-  General Hindi


General Studies - 

Candidates on a broad range of topics including current affairs, history, geography, general science, Indian polity, and economy.

-General Hindi is must


Time and Marks-

The total marks for the preliminary exam usually range between 140 to 200, and the duration for each section is between 90 minutes to 2 hours


- Candidates should expect multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in both sections, requiring accuracy and effective time management.


How to prepare -

As limited time left until the exam, candidates should adopt a strategic approach to maximize prepeeation 


Subjects -

Understanding the detailed syllabus is crucial,Focus on the key topics outlined by UPPSC and prioritize subjects that carry more weight in terms of marks distribution.

Deep knowledge of Current affairs -

A significant portion of the General Studies section includes current news need to make a  habit to read daily newspapers and refer to monthly current affairs magazines. Online platforms and apps can also be useful for quick updates.


Command on hindi subject -For the General Hindi paper, practice grammar, sentence structuring, and comprehension. Regular exercises in Hindi essay writing and précis writing can also help boost performance.

Solve previous paper -
